More weekend fun!

So Ruco and I had a really great weekend! Saturday we hung out with Emily and Heather and went to Leigh Davis' wedding..it was very fun! We then went to Applebees...which really hit the spot! Sunday, we went tubing at Styx River with my family! It was just so relaxing and Marti, Kaleb and I just chilled as Ruco drug us out of the bushes and spiders...we really did see a snake, which freaked me out for the entire rest of the trip!! Then Marti and Kaleb came over to our house and we got icecream and sat out on the front porch. Ruco and I had bought some canvases and acrylic paint just for fun, so Marti and I painted pictures while Kaleb and Ruco had their usual jam session! Here are the pictures Marti and I painted...I decided that one day when Ruco and I have a kid, I am going to FILL his/her room with African pictures that I paint, and they could have a little African room. So heres my first one!! I love giraffes...dont laugh!
Here is Martis Toucan bird...not very African, but cool nonetheless! haha! We always do the silliest things together and have a great time!

Tonight we took the youth group to a Pelicans game and had a BLAST! I didnt even think we would have that much fun! Our whole youth group (thanks to Carrie) had to go out on the field and do the YMCA..and then Marti and I had to go out and play the game where you spin your forehead on the tip of the bat and then race! Marti definately won, as I ran way to the left of the finish line..that getting dizzy part really works! Sorry Marti that I make you do so many embarrassing things! Sunday at church, I made her sing with me so last minute with the praise band and I drag her around making her do interpretive dances, songs, and skits. Ruco and I are really having a blast helping with the youth, it really is so much fun! We are meeting so many great new people and are so thankful for the opportunity to help out!
Heres one last picture I took of the whole group together! We only missed Heather, who really wanted to come with us, but the weather was so crazy tonight! Hopefully she can come to Big Kahunas with us!!! =)
