This past week has been really great...last Saturday, Ruco and I took the youth group to the Third Day/David Crowder concert in Mobile! We all had a blast! I had been to a couple Third Day shows with Ruco before...one in Six Flags with my family a few years ago, and then once in Tallahassee, but this one was so awesome. I just love Rucos heart for worship..he sings so very loud, which you would never think coming from him! On Sunday mornings, we have competitions as to who can sing louder. So, the Third Day concert was the same way, he just sings his little heart out!

This week was so nice as a short week for the holidays! We had a little Christmas party at my work and worked a half day on Wednesday. Thursday, we had a great Thanksgiving! We went over to Aunt Gwens house for lunch! She made her homemade mac n cheese and dirty rice! It was so very good, shes a really great cook! Afterwards, we played some pictionary and the girls basically kicked some booty! Later that night we stopped to see Ash and Hamid at the Jernigan household and got some more great food, and we also stopped by and saw the Johnson family. It was so much fun to see everyone!

So today is officially the first day of the Christmas season! Im so very excited! It was also "black friday" and per Rucos request, we woke up at 4am to go to bestbuy for a labtop...i never imagined the craziness we would find at 4:30am! The line was wrapped around the mall and we waited in the freezing cold only to find when we got inside that they sold out of the labtops a long time ago! There were even people who had camped outside of bestbuy with their small children (CRAZY!) We still continued to shop all morning going to circuit city, target, and wal-mart for any deals. It was nuts, and I vow to never shop on black friday ever again, really. Ruco and I also got our first tree today! So we went home, turned on the Christmas music, made coffee and decorated our tree! Ill add some pictures here at the end...We re-arranged our living room a little so that the tree could be in front of the three windows~its really Christmas, im so excited. We missed everyone we didnt get to see over the Thanksgiving holidays, but we are hoping we get to see everyone really soon! Merry Christmas to everyone...officially! =)

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Chris and I love you AND your little Christmas tree! Chris says that we have to have a Christmas tree in every room of the house when we get married. I'm still in Atlanta, but I'll be home on Sunday! Muah!
Awww! I was sad I didn't get to see you, but it sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving! I love your Christmas tree, and I wish I could go see it in person! I love you so much, and I am thankful for you!
What a pretty tree!! And you only had to yell at Ruco how many times?? HA HA HA!!! Oh, and like little Jo Jo, I too am thankful for you and our friendship!! ;)
Hey Kristi! Glad to hear you guys had an awesome Thanksgiving! I, too, woke up at 4 AM on Black Friday (while my husband slept in till 1 PM!!!), but I went to Circuit City thinking there won't be as many people as Best Buy... Boy was I wrong!!! I stood in line for 2 hours to check out! That was crazy, but I really had fun shopping! Your Christmas tree is so stinkin' cute!!! Well... Merry Christmas!!! Officially :-)
very very cute tree!!
me and tim had plans to wake up early but ended up getting out of bed around 8ish and heading to the mall.. We just did light christmas shopping though...nothing extreme. And by then all the crazy people were gone so it was fun! Haha!!
I know Kristi! I really thought it would be Sadie, I couldn't believe it. I was sad for her! Have a good day!
I don't know if Jesse will be here for my birthday!! I don't think so because the day after Christmas we're going to visit my mom and then from there, I think he's going to Jacksonville. :(
you're a dork! hahah! i didnt alphabitize the list, the blog program did it for me! how convenient?!?!!? :) ahhaha!
It's so strange that the people you wouldn't even think about have been through the same things...Me and my dad also talk once every few weeks (which can be sometimes a month). But like you said, Its an unconditional love.
I'm excited to see him with our first child...(in about 10 years)! I'm missing my brother's game friday but Tim said that he's gonna go cheer for him! To me...family is MOST important and that shows me a LOT about his priorities!! :)
