Today we went to a Christmas Festival in a village close by (Janvry) with friends that work with us. We had so much fun. Apparently most towns have a Christmas festival, but this one was excellent with tons of good food to choose from, rides for the kids, camels, and market items for sale. The highlight of the day had to be when "Father Christmas" came through the street, pulled by grumpy angels in feather suits!! He also came accompanied by soap sud snow which came from the fake snow machines lining the street!!! Our friends said the last time they were at the festival it really snowed, but I was content with warmer weather and the fake stuff!! Here are some shots from today!
land because we must leave France after 90 consecutive days of being here. I am excited to see the sites in Geneva, and spend good time with Ruco!! We knew we would have to leave the country, but of course we waited until the very last minute to book our tickets and plan the trip, but we should have a fun time together!
Everything else is going good...we are still loving being here and working with Campus Crusade. We love helping our "boss," he is just so encouraging, loving, and prays with us often.
God is really just giving Ruco and I such insight as to what we would like to do in the future and with ministry.
OK, more on that and our plans for Gambia soon! We miss you all very much and are excited to be with you soon for Christmas!!!
