My in-laws, after serving with Campus Crusade for Christ for the last 13 years, are now changing organizations and will be working with Godspeed. Their mission: “To care about the emotional, spiritual, and organizational well being of missionaries, missionary leaders, and cross cultural missionary teams in order to refresh their spirits and to establish healthy environments in which they can thrive to help fulfill the Great Commission." My father in law (Willie) is a clinical psychologist. In his new position, he will be able to care for missionaries on the field through crisis interventions and preventative and restorative services. This can be in the form of debriefings, counseling, team building exercises, workshops, trainings, etc. Basically, missionaries can experience lots of stresses living in the field emotionally and physically, depending on their situation. Godspeed aims to care for missionaries out in the field so that they can better care for the people they are there to serve. Check out their NEW blog for more information about their positions and ministry with Godspeed. You can click on the "Ministry" tab to read more.

The best part is that they will be relocating with Godspeed to Southern Africa (Namibia) at some point next year!!!! I really am so very proud of them, for what they are doing and have done to further His Kingdom! After having lived out in the field now for a bit, I really understand the need for what they are doing. Mamma and Pappa-I can't wait to come and visit you guys in Namibia!! We are so blessed because of you!

That is sooo cool what they will be doing. Missionaries can go crazy sometimes and we just need people to talk us through things, huh?! ha ha
Kristi, I love you dearly and I continue to pray for you and rucsi every night. You are precious friends to me.
Love,
Audrey
Thank you for this Kristi!
