The last week in photos...

This past week has been busy, but so great. I have been traveling around visiting many of SP's shelter sites. This is where SP has constructed temporary transitional shelters for families. Over the last few days, we had many things to distribute to our shelter communities including: mosquito nets, jerry cans, kitchen tools, hygiene kits, and rain barrels (in order to harvest rain water). Monica and the WASH team did awesome trainings each day on hygiene, and how to properly use the items being distributed! Patty and I took care of the logistics of the distributions. It was wonderful to see the families come together and take pride and ownership in their new shelter communities! Overall, it was a great week in Haiti! God has so blessed Ruco and I with the chance to work here, and get to know the people/culture, and also other staff working on the ground here. If God does choose to lead us elsewhere, it will be hard to go...

Lifting Jesus up, that's what really counts, regardless of the circumstances. Thank you for blessing us!
